Luca Carlo Feletti was born in Turin, Italy, on May 6th, 1978. He received his degree in Electronics Engineering, from Politecnico di Torino in September 2002, with a thesis on “Commercial Wireless systems in a spatial scenario”, developed with the Alenia Spazio Electronic Systems Department.

His main research activities deal with the development of devices for Wireless Communications based on Software Defined Radio Technology. Since January 2003, he is attending his Ph. D. program in Electrical and Communications Engineering with the DCC Team at the Electronics Department of Politecnico di Torino, focusing on re-configurable 3-4G receivers with CDMA/OFDM techniques.

He was involved in the European project IST–1999-29043-MARVEL (Micro Air Vehicles for Multipurpose Remote Monitoring and Sensing). In 2003, he joined a research activity lead by the Alenia Spazio Electronic Systems Department, working on the possible Space applications of existing wireless protocols (Bluetooth, 802.11, Zigbee) and the development of a system for TM signal acquisition and TC signal generation, using COTS devices. Currently, he is involved in the study of Low Density Parity Check Codes and their possible applications.
